Wherobots Cloud Storage Solutions

Wherobots Cloud offers versatile storage solutions, including a built-in managed service and integration with your existing AWS S3 buckets (public or private).

  • Wherobots Managed Cloud Storage

    • Effortless & Secure: Provides out-of-the-box, S3-based storage managed by Wherobots, requiring no user setup. Wherobots handles infrastructure, maintenance, security, and scalability.
    • Persistent Storage: Ideal for notebooks, spatial datasets (vector, raster, geospatial formats), and other work products generated within Wherobots Cloud.
    • Collaboration: Share resources within your Wherobots Organization by saving files to the data/shared/ path.
    • Access: Easily accessible via the Wherobots Cloud interface (e.g., "Managed Storage" link).

  • AWS S3 Bucket Integration

    • Your Buckets, Your Control: Connect and utilize your own public or private AWS S3 buckets.
    • Seamless Interaction: Read from and write to your S3 buckets, governed by your AWS IAM permissions.
    • Use Cases:
      • Access existing large-scale datasets in your S3 data lakes.
      • Maintain direct control over data storage, lifecycle policies, and permissions within your AWS environment.
      • Facilitate data exchange with other applications interacting with your S3 buckets.

Havasu tables and datasets are managed by the Wherobots Catalog and are automatically stored in your Wherobots Cloud Managed Storage.

Wherobots Cloud also provides several datasets as Havasu tables through the Spatial Data Catalog. You can also upload and manage your raw data in Wherobots Managed Storage.
